Gouda's Cheesewheel

The last few weeks.

So the past few weekends have held adventure. On the weekend of June 2nd
and 3rd Brent and I went camping to celebrate our 6 month mark. I might
actually steal some blurbs about this from his blog. The following
Wednesday we left for South Dakota to visit some of his extended
family, and returned home that Sunday.

Last week I filled in for
the managers at Ten Thousand Villages, since one was getting married
and the other two were at a conference in Pennsylvania. It wasn't too
bad. Just a little slow at times. We got a couple of shipments in on
Thursday, so that added excitement to the week since I got to unpack
them with the help of the volunteers. I also discovered that the bakery
next door to them has tasty sandwiches.

Sallie is back in town. She's stayed over at my apartment a couple of times, which was something I was looking forward to. I bought her a homecoming gift from a used game store. It's a board/role-playing game based on the movie "Willow." We tried to play it but the rules proved to be a little more complex than we anticipated so eventually we gave up and went to bed.

Anyway, now I'm on the lookout for another job, but for the moment I'm not feeling terribly energetic...
