Kristin and Elissa Weekend
After we came back from Durango, the following weekend was devoted to Brent's cousin, who was in town, and Kristin, whose birthday was approaching. Friday night we were supposed to meet people at a bar and proceed to a dance party. Unfortunately we never found them. Failing to find the address for the bar on north Broadway, we took the bus to south Broadway, where we also found nothing. We ended up making a stop at Wendy's on the way so I could use the bathroom. Brent bought us a Frosty.
Jenn hailed us a cab with her crazy gloves and we rode back downtown. Finally we gave up and went dancing at The Church for a bit, then wandered back to my place and just chilled for the evening.
Saturday we (along with Matt and Liisa and Kristin's friend James) played Laser Tag in the afternoon. Afterward we tried to go rollerskating at Fat City, but it was closed, so instead we went up to Northglenn for Adult Skate night. We were quite tired by the end of the evening, but it was fun.
Sunday Brent and I accompanied some of his family (including Elissa and her little girls) to the Zoo. It was a nice sunny day. After a snack at an awesome hot dog stand on Colfax, we said our goodbyes to Elissa. In the evening I gave Kristin her birthday present and helped her finish a paper.
All in all pretty good weekend.
