Honolulu!
Decided to keep the H thing going.
Well here we are in the tropical Pacific! Got here yesterday around 3:30, ahead of schedule. Took the city bus to our hotel (nice $2 tour of the city, I think) and changed into less cumbersome clothing (we'd gotten all business-casualed up to try to get put in first class, as we were flying standby).
We had just enough time to walk the two blocks to the beach and see the sunset over the ocean, then we crossed the streeet to Tiki's grill to have supper. Thanksgiving dinner for us was Kalua Pig and purple sweet potatoes! Took a walk around town, then called it a night.
