New prospects
So I finally have something to write about besides suburbia and my pets. "Thank goodness," you all say.I recently applied for a staff position with Copirg, and then thought better of it once I made it to the "second interview." This was actually a 6-hour series of group exercises and evaluations. Not fun, nor rewarding. If that's what the job would have been like every day, I'm rather glad I didn't get hired. It takes a special kind of person to work for that organization, and I don't think I was it.
On a tip from my cousin Toby, I'm now applying for a part-time library job. If that pans out I think it would be a nice development. I need something worth doing, but not too involved just now. I know I can do library work. I did it for 4 years.
In other news, I'm seeing someone new. It's been fun. He's got a nice sense of humor and he can dance, and we have many silly conversations, and I'm sure I could go on and on but I don't see the need. He makes me happy, and that's all I really needed to get across.
More to say later, I hope.
