News...yeah, just news.
Let's see, right quick:Job with RAAP generally kicks butt. Has its ups and downs, but pretty much good, although the increasingly cold weather will add a challenge to spending 5 hours a day outside.
I've been sick for several weeks, first with a nasty cough that eventually cleared up, then with a UTI (eew) then with some stomach bug that caused intense enough pain that they suspected it might be appendicitis at first. It's improved greatly, and no fever, so their suspicions were wrong ($400 later. ug).
Brent and I are moving in together about mid to late December, after much discussion and deliberation. We shopped around and found a great deal on a rental house near my parents. It's $750 a month not including any utilities (I don't think), but it's fairly energy efficient so we're not worried. The outside isn't much to look at, and it's by the highway, but it's got a great interior and the noise doesn't penetrate the house, so we'll adjust easily. I've been brainstorming decorating ideas while I'm out in different neighborhoods canvassing. We're both looking forward to it.
In any case, it's almost time for work, so I'll be off. We're having a snack potluck today before the holiday, so I must pack up my cheese and crackers.
