Yeah, don't worry about the plates. I just hope you didn't drop them on your foot or cut yourself.

no
i couldn't find a broom to sweep up the little bits, so I just picked up the big ones and wore shoes all morning
so you might want to sweep when you get home

Smart girl, there's a communal broom that I'll grab to sweep up. I'll do that tonight once I get home.

you know the weird thing about the plates it that I broke three, and not all at once

i was getting one out for a bagel, and didn't realize there were two others on top of it. so those fell in the sink and one broke and the other chipped (I fixed the chip with some superglue)
then I was putting cream cheese on my bagel on a non-broken plate, and it was balanced on the edge of the sink, and it upended and fell face down on the floor. So not only did the plate shatter, but I lost half my bagel.

and THEN I was on my way home, with my bag of stuff and my blender and one of my plates that was in your kitchen, and I'd put the plate in the blender box. All was well till the bottom of the blender box came undone and the plate hit the sidewalk.
so that was my morning. hope it's not an omen.

Well, it looked like 3 bad things happened so hopefully it's all out of the your karmic system and the rest of the day will kick much booty.
