Careers (*shudder*)

Well, if you're viewing my blog today, chances are you'll notice my avatar is wearing a suit (it will probably change clothes if you read this later). Yep, it's that time again, when the CU career fair rolls around. I must confess I've never felt the desire to attend the career fair. It always seems to feature jobs I'm not qualified for at companies I have no interest in. This year, being that I'm out of school and have no excuse (and also now posess a resume and a suit), I figured I'd give it a go. There are a few companies I'm definitely a bit curious about, and considering that the Peace Corps, Americorps, and Teach for America will all be there, it can't all be investment banking and weapons technology. Even so, I can't say I'm terribly enthusiastic about landing a job through this thing...makes one wonder why I'm going, doesn't it...

Hmm...if there was a "Fly far, far away" Fair I'd be a bit more eager...guess that's just the way it goes.
