Dean's List (a.k.a. I'm a nerd)

Here's the "press release" they email us. Silly, if you ask me, but it's nice to know. It's also a semester late. They apologized for that.

A final exams bouquet

For all the students out there, a virtual bouquet of well-wishes:

Galax for encouragement,

Iris for faith, wisdom, valor and promise,

Mums for hope,

Ginger for strength,

Pansies for thoughtful reflection (good for those essay questions),

And most importantly, Solidago for success!

Good luck everyone!

Term papers

*Incomprehensible groan follows* I still have 700 more words...it ain't gonna happen. If I can just get to Death of a Salesman and The Crucible I'll be ok...but that's not to speak of a conclusion...

I hate finals.

This week has been quite full of stuff. Some of it was good. Some of it was cumbersom. The point is, all of it happened at the same time. Most of it is yet to come...in the next week, even.
Last Wednesday: Final sound assignment due
Last Thursday: 2-page writeup of 30 Ma Rainey's Black Bottom due
Past weekend: Fringe Festival, which I acted in
Today: Finish 2500 word paper on Arthur Miller which is due tomorrow at 12:30. Rehearse Romeo and Juliet scene
Tomorrow: Work on sound cues for final group sound project (due Wednesday for compiling). Rehearse Romeo and Juliet scene
Wednesday: Finish 1-act play due Thursday. Perform Romeo and Juliet scene. Go to Dentist.
Thursday: Finish final costume sketches and prepare to paint them in class on Friday.
Friday: Study for Dev IV final exam to be taken Saturday morning.
Saturday: FINALS BEGIN. AAAAAGGGGHHH!
Beat the stress with this.
