Typical Email Survey--Respond if you like
Yes, it's that time again! Welcome to the 2006 edition of getting to knowyour friends and family. What you are supposed to do is copy (not forward)
this entire e-mail and paste it onto a new e-mail that you'll send.
Change all the answers so they apply to you, and then send this to a whole
bunch of people including the person who sent it to you. The theory is that
you will learn a lot of little things about your friends, if you did not

not counting the chickens before they hatch
I am cast.I am cast in a directing project.
I was told by my advisor this would fulfill my acting practicum.
I went through the paperwork to add acting practicum "class" (I think all that is entailed in the credit is acting in something and writing a paper about it). If everything goes smoothly, I will graduate in May with my two majors. If not, I will need to change my curricular plan and add two Shakespeare production practica.
The only reasons things would not go smoothly (heavan forbid): the paperwork doesn't go through (i.e. they reject my request to add the class because they're evil and don't understand the nature of theatre credits), OR the directing class isn't counted as acting practicum for some reason (i.e. my advisor is dumb and I should have gone to the head of acting practicum directly, even though she doesn't know me and I'm scared of her).
So really, my best bet is to wait and see if I'm added (please please pretty please), then verify with Cecilia that the part will count, plus see what I need to do to get the credit, and finally relax, participate, be happy and graduate on time.
If they reject my request or Cecilia screws me over, then I need to get hired onto Shakespeare Fest as soon as humanly possible so I can finish in August, and still walk in May.
And if that doesn't work, I'll lie to everyone who gets my graduation announcements (or alter them with my ninja skills), stay till Fall, and hope to get cast in something then. At least that way I'd be able to keep my library job.
Which is an entirely other concern involved with all of this...I don't know if I'll be able to keep my job this summer or not...........
